heyparrot ("we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered CV builder operated as an independent product. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
When you use heyparrot, you share career information through a voice or text interview. This includes your name, job titles, company names, achievements, skills, education, and contact details you choose to provide. This information is used to generate your CV.
Payments are processed by Creem, our payment provider. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number or payment details. Creem handles all payment processing in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Your interview transcript and generated CV are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data stays on your device. It is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Your data is automatically deleted after 24 hours. You can also delete it at any time by clearing your browser data.
We do not have a user accounts system. There is no database of user profiles, CVs, or interview transcripts on our servers.
heyparrot uses Google's Gemini AI to conduct interviews, extract career data, and generate CVs. When you interact with heyparrot, your messages are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Google's use of this data is governed by their own terms and privacy policy.
We are an independent product and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.
heyparrot does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We use browser localStorage for session persistence (your CV data during the 24-hour window). No analytics or tracking cookies are set.
All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. We apply input sanitization and injection detection to protect against malicious inputs. Your Gemini API key is stored server-side and never exposed to your browser.
heyparrot is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of heyparrot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
